Everyone has their favourite Rangers players. These aren’t always the best players or the most famous players to have ever played at Ibrox, but there is something about them that sums up what Rangers are all about.

To me Jorg Albertz is one of them. He is a modern Rangers hero and it is good that he can still hit the back of the net with a screamer. Here is a goal scored for Clyde FC that shows he hasn’t lost the power that made him a legend.

I’ll need to pop along to Broadwood next season to see him. Better still – I have a sneaky suspicion we will be playing them in a pre-season friendly.
